Pembrokeshire Velo Handicap League 2008

Rules & Point Scoring:

The competition covers all the 10 mile time trials run by the club this year.

Handicaps are established by taking the riders most recent ride (this year), their handicap time is established on the following basis:
Neyland course: Riders time over 24mins.
Pembroke Dock course: Riders time over 23mins 30 seconds.
Sageston course: Riders time over 23mins 30 seconds.
1st ride can qualify for points, but is ridden on scratch.

Points are awarded for each '10' as follows:
1st (on handicap) 10pts, 2nd 9pts - and so on down to one point for 10th place.
Additionally, 10pts are awarded to riders marshalling an event, up to a maximum of 40pts.

Riders who fail to marshall 4 events in the year (includes other events) will be deducted 10pts for each event missed. (because it is a condition of membership to marshall 4 events).
